Children & families will be singing, dancing & experiencing the joy of community at this interactive music & puppet show!

In this performance for Opening Day 2026 at Maryhill Museum of Art, acclaimed Portland family artist Red Yarn will perform a mix of revved-up folk songs and roots rock originals. In between songs, Red Yarn’s critter puppets will provide comic relief & social-emotional skill-building. Children & families will be singing, dancing & experiencing the joy of community at this interactive music & puppet show!

This is a free event. Due to the generosity of our sponsors, all children and their caregivers attending this event receive complimentary day-of admission to Maryhill Museum of Art. Capacity is limited; please register all attendees so we can ensure enough room for everyone to enjoy the concert and puppet show.
