The GOLDYS 2025: Award Nominations Now Open!

We’re thrilled to bring YOU — the Greater Goldendale community — into the Chamber Awards process for the very first time as we launch a new tradition of celebrating excellence in the Greater Goldendale Area. These awards are meant to honor the people, businesses, and places that make our community exceptional — and who better to help us recognize that than the community itself?

This truly represents the best of the Greater Goldendale Area, and we’re excited to include the most pivotal part of our region in the process: you.

Please Note:
Nominations are open to businesses that are active Chamber members (not tied to any specific programs). While any business with an active license is welcome to apply for membership nominations to businesses or organizations who are not members as of August 1st, 2025 or a member via a special program will be disregarded.

Award Categories & Descriptions

Citizen of the Year (Open to any Central & Eastern Klickitat County Citizen)

This award recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond for the betterment of our community. Their actions, volunteerism, and commitment make Goldendale and the surrounding area a better place to live, work, and thrive. Anyone in out community is eligible to receive this award, no list of eligible candidates will be provided.

Business Member of the Year

Awarded to a Chamber member business that has demonstrated outstanding leadership, customer service, and community involvement. This business sets the standard for what it means to be a committed, impactful member of the Greater Goldendale Area Chamber.

Community Trailblazer Award

This award honors a member business or organization that challenges the status quo and forges new paths in innovation, advocacy, or community growth. Their bold vision and fearless leadership are helping shape the future of our area.

The “Glow Up” Award (Revitalization Recognition)

Presented to a business, agency, organization, or group that has made a significant and visible transformation within the Chamber's service area — whether through physical renovation, program revitalization, or community re-engagement. It's all about breathing new life into something and inspiring others to do the same.

President’s Award

(Selected by Chamber leadership – not open to public nomination.)
